Dutch Star Companies ONE aligns returns for investors, promotors and the target company’s shareholders aiming for a win-win-win for all
What is a SPAC?
Dutch Star Companies ONE is a Special Purpose Acquisition Company usually referred to as SPAC.
A SPAC is a listed investment vehicle set up exclusively to raise capital with the intention to acquire a (significant) minority interest in one non-listed target company; the Business Combination. The money raised by the SPAC is deposited in an escrow account until a 70% majority of its shareholders agree on the proposed Business Combination. After the Business Combination is agreed upon it is the intention that the target company will dissolve in the SPAC and the target company becomes the listed entity.
